TWO DAYS OF GROWTH: ENGLISH AMBASSADOR TRAINING 2025

The English Ambassador Training at Ignatius Slamet Riyadi Junior High School was held over two days with great enthusiasm and active participation from the students. Day 1 took place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at ISR’s 3rd corridor. The focus was on building the Ambassadors’ skills through seven sessions. Each session was designed to develop competencies in Public Speaking, Interacting with Others, Leadership, Confidence, Think Win-Win, Begin with the End in Mind, and Reflection. These sessions helped students learn how to interact effectively, express their opinions, and practice English in creative and meaningful ways. Activities included interactive discussions, project-making, and group tasks that encouraged every participant to speak up and support one another.
Day 2 took place on Friday, August 29, 2025, at ISR’s 3rd corridor. On this day, the English Ambassadors worked in groups to design daily, weekly, monthly, and big event programs for the school year. Each group confidently presented their program plans, showcasing creativity and teamwork. The presentations introduced many fresh ideas, from small daily habits to inspiring large-scale events. Five students also received special awards in appreciation of their spirit, creativity, and active participation.
Overall, the two-day training not only allowed the English Ambassadors to practice their English but also helped them grow as leaders and role models in the school. With the knowledge and experience they gained, they are now ready to inspire their peers and bring positive changes to the school environment.
